A Modern Home in a Modern City
A modern young city (50 years) with great architectural diversity! You will enjoy the beautiful parks. The city centre provides all modern shops, cinema and theatre. The rooms are suitable for single travellers, couples and adventurers. Free parking in the area. The world famous nature reserve Oostvaardersplassen is nearby. The location is just at a 7 minute walking distance to public transport and the best supermarket in town. Only 35 minutes by train to Amsterdam night life.

We have two rooms with seperate beds and one room has a queen size bed. All rooms have a comfortable closet for all your belongings and clothes and a convenient laptop friendly desktop with free Wi-Fi and fast hardwired internet (up to 500 mBit/s).

The water in the Netherlands is of excellent quality. You can refill your bottle at the tap. Free coffee and tea is available in the kitchen and on the landing near your room.
Use of kitchen
The kitchen is fully available for our guests. You can cook your own lovely meals while having a nice chat with other fellow travellers. We provide herbs and spices to spice up your food.
Your own food space
In the kitchen is a special place in the cabinets and in the fridge to store your own food. Look for the corresponding room number.
Martin’s house is great. He has it set up to make guests very comfortable. There are a number of rooms for guests and it works well because of his thoughtfulness in the set-up. It is very clean, something that is quite important to us. Martin himself is very friendly and has a gift for hospitality. We really enjoyed talking with him. This location is about 30 minutes from Amsterdam but there’s an easy train into the city. I highly recommend staying with Martin!

Transport & Location info
Public transport is pretty good in our country. To use a travel ticket to travel to Almere as well, buy the Amsterdam REGION ticket in stead of the regular Amsterdam ticket.
Public transport
Download the NS app on your phone to find your way easily. Via “meer” and “instellingen” you can change the language to English. See “taal”. Or plan your journey on your computer.
Note that to travel to Almere it would be best to buy an Amsterdam REGION travel ticket!

Make your way around the Dutch capital Amsterdam and all its interesting sights outside the city with a travel ticket that’s valid on trains, trams, buses, metro and ferries. Are you in late and hungry? Have your food delivered from Domino’s Pizza. Open from 12 am till 11.45 pm. Or order almost anything from thuisbezorgd.nl/en
Please do not let them use the door bell after 10 PM, let them call your mobile or wait in the kitchen.

Martin was a fantastic host. The home is a just short walk from the train station, which is perfect for commuting to the city. It’s a very quiet, modern neighborhood. Very clean and he had great tips about the local area. Would highly recommend.
Martin’s place is the perfect Airbnb to stay if you wanna visit Amsterdam and the cities nearby! Just 10 min walking from Almere Parkwijk station with supermarket very close too. The house is super neat and very organized. Martin provides everything a guest needs: towel, linen and sheets, soap, shampoo, detergent, etc. The neighborhood is quite and lovely. My mom and I had a very perfect stay there! Martin is a very kind superhost and helped us since first contact. Checking in is very easy and simple and he answers very fast. Definitely reccomend his place!

Excellent host, extremely clean and spacious place, close to the train station which makes it quite easy to get around.
The house is located in a nice and quiet area (and 8-min walk to the station). It was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. You have everything you need there. Martin was a great host! He was very friendly and approachable. He even took me back to the train station by car. I’d definitely go back! I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Martin!
